DAY 5 - A Path to Follow

28th May 2022 was the fifth day of the project. The day was full of visiting and getting to know Trondheim city. The bus was hired by TtB Association to make sure the comfortable travel of the participants.

The first visit was made to the Thamspaviljongen which was Norway's contribution to the Chicago World's Fair in 1893. After 124 years in the USA, the building was brought home to Orkanger where it was originally built at Strandheim Brug. This was one of Norway's first prefabricated factories and eventually the largest. There were many woodcarvers among the 300 workers and they contributed greatly to the decoration of the building. One hour tour with a guide allowed the participants to get informed about the building. It was a nice chance for the participants to realize the importance of the profession and how still the craftsmen are remembered for their work.

Then the bus took the group to the Nidaros cathedral in Trondheim. From here the participants were asked to form a teams of 3-4 people and they were given a list of the sightseeing and monuments of Trondheim city. Each team was asked to take a picture or selfie where they were on the photo in front of the places mentioned in the list. Each photo would count for one point and the team with the highest score would get the prize at the end.

After the dinner, it was time for the team from Spain to represent their country to other teams. Below,  some photos from day 5 are attached. For all photos follow the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Lr8dLFci27BH_WA93b_03aKnRmvo4z47?usp=sharing
